Open automation solutions for the photovoltaic production
Beckhoff is exhibiting from 25 to 28 September 2012 at the international European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) in Frankfurt, Germany, and will present its range of solutions for photovoltaic production. With
PC-based Control, Beckhoff offers a universal and high performance control platform, with optimisation potential for the entire process chain of photovoltaic production:
from the production of the wafer to that of the cell and the module.
The tradeshow presentation will focus on the new software generation, TwinCAT 3, as well as scalable drive solutions. Beckhoff will present a further highlight in the motors from the AM8000 series, which require only one motor connecting cable for feedback and power, thus significantly reducing material and installation costs.
TwinCAT 3: efficient engineering and free choice of programming language
TwinCAT 3 enables optimal distribution of applications to the CPU cores and is therefore able to make full use of the processor power. Efficient software engineering is enabled through embedding in Microsoft Visual Studio® as an integrated development environment. CX2000: Multi-core power on the DIN rail
The new Embedded PC series offers new options on the DIN rail. Scalable drive technology: the Servo Drive in the EtherCAT Terminal
With its product range of scalable drive solutions Beckhoff covers a broad range of applications: from the EtherCAT drives of the AX5000 series for outputs of up to 170 A to the ultra-compact EL7201 servo terminal.
